Requirements and Qualifications:
 
* Enrollment in a School Psychology Program from an Accredited College/University
 
* Completion of coursework in Psycho educational testing, counseling, classroom/behavior management
 
* Completion or anticipated completion of a Masters Degree
 
* Must pass DOJ fingerprint clearance

SPEECH AND LANGUAGE SPECIALIST

COMMUNITY LIAISON - SCHOOL READINESS

Under the supervision of Site Administrator, work with the School Readiness Coordinator to serve as a liaison between parents, students and the community.

INSTRUCTIONAL ASSISTANT II-SPECIAL EDUCATION/HEALTH & MEDICAL

Under supervision of Site Administrator, attend to students in the classroom who have special needs requiring intensive individual instruction.

INSTRUCTIONAL ASSISTANT III-SPECIAL EDUCATION/BEHAVIOR (FLOATER)

Under general direction of a classroom teacher or program director, and the supervision of a school principal, provide specific instructional and behavioral strategies and techniques in support of students in autism and specialized programs.

 


NOON-DUTY SUPERVISOR

Under supervision of the Site Principal, supervises students on the playground during lunch time or recesses. Typical tasks may include organizing games for groups of students. Assures the safety of students by maintaining safe play rules. Directs students to properly dispose of lunch trays, trash, etc. Encourages students to participate in activities during their free time.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION ASSISTANT

Under the general supervision of the school principal, and as directed by a certificated Physical Education (PE) Teacher, assist in performing a variety of instructional activities with students individually or in groups to support a standards-based physical education program at the elementary level. This position may perform a variety of clerical tasks and may be assigned to a classroom setting.

SUBSTITUTE BUS DRIVER

Under supervision of Director of Transportation, operate a school bus safely over designated routes, transporting students.
