Please help us in welcoming Sharon Hensley, new Principal at Las Positas and Heidi Quirk, as Middle School Counselor. Sharon has served as a teacher of all grade levels K-12, high school counselor, and most recently as Assistant Principal for Instruction at Buena Park High School. Throughout her career, Sharon has witnessed the power of teamwork and the impact it has on a school community. She is looking forward to working together with students, teachers, school staff, parents, and members of the community to provide high quality, rigorous educational opportunities for the students she will serve.
Heidi comes to us from Duarte Unified School District where she has served as a Middle School Counselor for the past nine years. It was there that she developed her passion for prevention and intervention with middle school-aged students. In addition, Heidi served as a school counselor for five years in Newport Mesa Unified School District. Not only did she provide counseling services to elementary students, she developed mentoring programs as well. We are so pleased to welcome these highly qualified educators to the LHCSD Family.
