VAPA - Visual and Performing Arts
The La Habra City School District is commited to the belief that "Education in the arts is essential for all students" (Visual & Performing Arts Framework for California Public Schools). As such, the La Habra City School District has worked to expand the various visual and performing arts programs offered to our TK through 8th grade students. La Habra City School District VAPA teachers deliver a comprehensive curriculum designed to develop student awareness and appreciation for the visual and performing arts.
The LHCSD Visual and Performing Arts programs consists of instrumental music, vocal music, visual arts, digital art, and theater. We look forward to continuing our integration of the arts throughout all La Habra City School District schools.
