Middle School Choirs Perform at Knott's Berry Farm

On May 1st the choirs at both Imperial and Washington Middle Schools had the honor to perform together at Knott’s Berry Farm under the direction of Hope Harrison. The 49 singers met together the week before for a joint rehearsal in order to refine their song set list and prepare for this combined musical experience. The singers sang Something Big, Try Everything, Put Your Records On, Nunca Es Suficiente, Wade in the Water and Waka Waka. Featured soloists were Damian Arceo, Melany Bravo, Esmeralda Ortiz, Julian Sifuentes, Isabelle Thomas and Sofia Vargas. The students were also joined by incredible chaperones – Rebecca Daniels, Nicci and Jorge Sandoval and Kevin Sanchez.

What a fantastic performance opportunity for all of our singers! Everyone had a great day and got to enjoy rides both before and after the performance. Here’s to hoping that this is the first of many choir performances at Knott’s Berry Farm
