In a remarkable display of talent and creativity, Grace Edwards, a 6th grader from Walnut Elementary School, has earned significant recognition in the national "CelebratingArts Fall 2023" art contest. Competing against a staggering 18,000 entries from K-12 students across the United States, Grace's artwork stood out, securing her a position as a High Merit Award winner.
Placing 122nd in the highly competitive 4th-6th grade category, Grace's achievement places her artwork among the top 300 submissions, highlighting her exceptional skill and dedication to her craft. This accolade not only celebrates Grace's personal success but also underscores the strength and quality of the visual arts program within the La Habra City School District.
