La Habra City School District is proud to share that Las Positas Elementary School has been recognized as a STAR Honor Roll School by Educational Results Partnership (ERP). This honor celebrates schools that are helping students achieve academic excellence and preparing them for future success.
The Honor Roll, presented by ERP in partnership with the Campaign for Business and Education Excellence, highlights schools that show strong student achievement in English Language Arts and Mathematics, while also making significant progress for all student groups.
To earn the STAR distinction, schools must demonstrate consistent academic growth over time. Las Positas met this high bar by performing above the state’s academic trendline in multiple years, showing excellence and improvement across all areas.
The Honor Roll program is the only school recognition initiative in California developed in partnership with state and local business leaders. It uses objective student achievement data to identify schools that are making a measurable difference in student learning. Now in its tenth year, the program celebrates schools that are helping students build the knowledge and skills needed for success in school, work, and life.
