Sierra Vista Launches PAWSCO to Promote Positive School Culture

At Sierra Vista Elementary, the 2025–2026 school year is off to a strong start as students lead the way in creating a positive and respectful campus through the launch of our new PBIS initiative and the debut of PAWSCO, our student store.

PAWSCO isn’t just a store—it’s a celebration of student character and personal growth. Students earn PAWS Tickets for demonstrating key behaviors: Problem Solving, Always making good choices, Working together, and Showing respect. Twice a week, they can redeem these tickets for fun prizes, school supplies, and special experiences that reinforce goal-setting, responsibility, and the value of effort.

The PBIS Team has played a vital role in creating this engaging system that recognizes and uplifts students. A special spotlight goes to Mrs. Andrea Ramirez, our school counselor, whose leadership has made PAWSCO a standout success. Mrs. Ramirez manages inventory, coordinates orders, and rolls out the PAWSCO cart with enthusiasm, spreading positivity across campus.

Thanks to the dedication and collaboration of our staff, Sierra Vista continues to demonstrate what it means to be Powered by Purpose—ensuring every student feels seen, supported, and motivated to grow.
