From our dedicated Instructional Assistants to our exceptional service providers—including teachers, Speech-Language Pathologists, School Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, and District Nurses—the IMS Special Education team consistently demonstrates compassion, professionalism, and unwavering dedication. Each team member plays a vital role in ensuring students receive the individualized support and services they need to succeed both academically and socially.
This commitment is evident in the engaging daily instruction provided to students, as well as in the meaningful Community-Based Instruction opportunities that take place each week. These experiences help students build independence, develop real-world skills, and strengthen connections within the community. The team also keeps families informed and connected through a monthly newsletter that supports strong home-school partnerships.
