This spring, our Preschool and Transitional Kindergarten classrooms are filled with curiosity, confidence, and discovery as students explore the world of numbers. Our youngest scholars are actively engaged in learning, sharing their thinking, and celebrating their progress as they build early math skills. Through daily interactions and meaningful experiences, students are developing a strong foundation in number sense while growing in confidence as learners. Classrooms are alive with excitement as students collaborate, ask questions, and proudly demonstrate what they know. These moments reflect not only academic growth, but also the joy that comes from discovering new ideas and recognizing their own abilities.
This growth is made possible by the dedication of our LHCSD Preschool and TK teachers, who create nurturing environments where every child feels encouraged to participate and succeed. Through thoughtful instruction, encouragement, and strong relationships, teachers guide students in developing critical thinking, perseverance, and a positive mindset toward learning. Their work ensures students are building both foundational math skills and confidence in themselves as capable learners. As spring continues, we celebrate the impact of our teachers and the remarkable progress of our youngest scholars.
