Prior to serving as Principal, Mr. Valadez served as an Assistant Principal in both Anaheim and Ontario, where he supported dual language programs and schoolwide systems before later becoming Principal at Central Language Academy.
In reflecting on his new role, Mr. Valadez shared:
“It is truly an honor to join the Ladera Palma Elementary School community. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside such dedicated staff, supportive families, and a community that clearly cares deeply about its children. I firmly believe that when we honor a child’s language, culture, and identity, we honor the child as a whole. Multilingual education is not only an academic strength, but a celebration of who our students are and the rich experiences they bring to school each day. I am committed to creating a learning environment where every child feels seen, valued, and empowered to thrive. Together, I look forward to building strong relationships, maintaining high expectations for all learners, and continuing a culture where students, staff, and families feel connected, proud, and inspired ”
The La Habra City School District is confident that Mr. Valadez’s leadership and extensive background in Dual Immersion will have a lasting and positive impact on the students, parents, and staff of Ladera Palma. Please join us in warmly welcoming Mr. Valadez as he steps into this important role and leads Ladera Palma toward a bright and successful future.
