To enroll, follow the steps outlined below and you'll be on your way to a successful school experience.
Enrollment for the 2020-21 school year will open on January 28, 2020.
Kinder Program Information
In the La Habra City School District, we believe the goal of kindergarten is to promote a joy of learning in a positive and nurturing environment, which creates critical thinkers, effective oral communicators, and life-long learners. In partnership with parents, we will provide intentional opportunities that meet the emotional, social, physical and academic needs of all learners.
Enrollment for 2020-2021
Enrollment for the 2020-21 school year will begin online January 28, 2020. Materials you will need include a birth certificate, immunization records, identification and proof of residency. (Proof of residency is established upon submission of a gas or electric utility bill displaying your name and address. - To enroll in Kindergarten for the 2020-21 school year, a child must be five on or before September 1, 2020. Children turning five between September 2, 2020 and December 2, 2020 are eligible to enroll in Transitional Kindergarten. Students whose birthday falls after the December 2nd date will be considered for enrollment on an individual basis as availability allows through April 1, 2021.

Step 1 - ONLINE Pre-Enrollment Process
For students new to the district, LHCSD has set up an online data entry process that will help you get started with the enrollment process. You must have a valid address within the La Habra City School District attendance area to use this system. Verification of residence and immunizations will be required before you complete the enrollment process. Please note: If a student previously attended a school within LHCSD and is returning, you do not need to complete the Aeries Internet Registration in Step 1, begin with Step 2.
Once the online pre-enrollment is completed, please return to this page. Check your school's website for instructions on how to make an appointment to bring in the required documents in order to complete steps 2 & 3. Step 1 does not secure your child's spot in your assigned school. The spot will be confirmed once all 3 steps are completed.

Step 2 - Gathering the Required Documents
Once you have completed the online pre-enrollment process, your next step is to verify your child's enrollment eligibility. There are several required documents you must have in order to complete the enrollment process. The following page will guide you through the gathering of documents you will need to bring back to your child's school to complete the enrollment process.
Step 3 - Enrollment Completion Process
Once you have completed Steps 1 and 2, you'll need to verify enrollment. Please check your school's website for contact information and to schedule an appointment to complete Step 3 and finalize the enrollment process.
That's it! Once you have completed Step 3, your enrollment is complete!
