We are excited to share wonderful news for our youngest learners and their families. Beginning in the 2026–2027 school year, all Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten (K) classes in the La Habra City School District will be full-day programs.
This expansion creates more time for meaningful learning and deeper connections to build a strong academic and social foundation. With a full day, students will engage in enriched instruction, hands-on exploration, and purposeful play that builds both academic skills and social confidence.
Throughout their school journey in LHCSD, students in all grades have opportunities to engage in a wide range of programs, including Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA), instrumental band and piano, Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM), International Baccalaureate (IB), Spanish Dual Immersion, coding, robotics, drones, Disney musicals, and free after-school enrichment programs and sports.
Eligibility Information:
- TK: Children who turn 4 years old on or before September 1, 2026
- Kindergarten: Children who turn 5 years old on or before September 1, 2026
