Cruising Through the Arts at Arbolita!

The 4th Annual Arbolita Arts Festival was a resounding success, drawing over 1,800 attendees for a night of creativity, culture, and community. With the theme "Cruising Through the Arts," our campus was transformed into a vibrant cruise ship with “ports” around the world, including Honolulu Harbor, Port Orleans, Port of Sydney, Mediterranean Harbor, Port of Long Beach, U.S. River Cruise, Greece, and Port Royal.

Families received boarding passes and traveled from port to port, collecting stamps and enjoying student artwork and writing at each stop. Each grade level contributed unique displays and performances, showcasing the incredible talent of our students. A highlight of the evening was the Living Wax Museum, where fourth-grade students brought historical figures to life with engaging presentations—activated by a quarter placed in their bucket!

The festival featured unforgettable performances, including “Go the Distance” from Hercules, “Pirates of the Caribbean,” “Down in New Orleans,” the Tarantella Folk Dance, a dance to Beethoven’s 5th Symphony, and a lively Footloose line dance. Our fifth-grade students even rewrote the lyrics to “Firework” for a special song titled “Arbolita, You’re So Wonderful!”

Families enjoyed a full evening of activities, including food vendors, a student art auction, photo booth, face painting, popcorn, and interactive exhibits.

Thank you to our entire Arbolita community for your support in making this unforgettable night possible. We can’t wait to see what next year’s festival brings!
