Arbolita Brings Winnie the Pooh to Life on Stage

This spring, Arbolita’s talented 3rd–6th grade performers brought Winnie the Pooh Kids to life in an unforgettable way. After months of dedication, creativity, and teamwork, our student cast delivered a heartwarming production that captured the magic of friendship, imagination, and fun.

Preparation for the show began early in the school year, with students, staff, and volunteers working tirelessly after school to make the production a success. From learning songs and choreography to designing costumes and building props, every detail reflected the passion and commitment of our school community. Together, they created eight memorable performances that showcased the incredible talents of our students.

Arbolita welcomed students from across the district to attend daytime performances, giving many the opportunity to experience live theater. Evening shows were equally successful, with sold-out audiences filling the room with applause and excitement.

The magic extended beyond the stage during Read Across America Week, as students helped transform the multipurpose room into the Hundred Acre Wood. With honey pots, bees, trees, and character displays, the space became an immersive experience. Guests entered through a red carpet and into a beautifully decorated “enchanted forest,” adding to the wonder of the event.

It was a truly special experience for our community, and the joy on students’ faces made it unforgettable. Thank you to everyone who supported this production—we look forward to bringing another story to life next year.
