Walnut STEAM Showcase Celebrates Learning

Walnut STEAM Showcase Celebrates Learning

Our Walnut campus came alive with creativity, curiosity, and community spirit during our recent STEAM Showcase and Open House—with more families attending than ever before!

Students proudly guided their families through classroom displays and hands-on projects that highlighted their learning in writing, math, history, science, and art. From science experiments to persuasive writing pieces, every corner of our school reflected the hard work, growth, and creativity of our Wildcats. Teachers added a special touch by showcasing visuals of students in action, capturing the collaboration and innovation that define our classrooms.

A standout moment of the evening was the Spyder Lab exhibit, where students—supported by their coaches—presented products they designed and created. These items were sold to raise funds for animal shelters impacted by recent wildfires, blending entrepreneurship with empathy in true STEAM fashion.

The evening kicked off with support from our amazing PTA, who welcomed families by handing out pizza to the first 200 attendees, helping set a warm and inviting tone for the night.

This event was a true celebration of academic achievement, creative expression, and the strength of our school community. Thank you to our students, staff, PTA, and families for making the night such a meaningful success!
