This month's La Habra City School District Attendance Champion is Ladera Palma at 95.52%! Ladera Palma will receive a banner to proudly display on the front of their school this month plus a special celebration for all students. Congratulations to all our Ladera Palma students and families!
We would also like to recognize two schools that had the biggest improvement in their attendance. El Cerrito with an improvement of 1.9% and our youngest learners at Early Learning with a whopping 5.54%! An ice cream party will be headed their way for their efforts building habits of good attendance.
Attending school regularly helps children feel better about school—and themselves. We encourage families to start building this habit as early as possible so students learn right away that going to school on time, every day is important. Eventually good attendance will be a skill that will help them succeed in high school and college.
