Assistant Principal's Message

Welcome Ladera Palma Families,

My name is Carrie Kim, and I am honored to serve as your Assistant Principal. I feel truly fortunate to be part of the Ladera Palma community.

With over 26 years of experience in education, I have served as a classroom teacher, program coordinator, and education specialist, supporting Title I, English Learner, Universal Transitional Kindergarten, Dual Immersion, and International Baccalaureate programs. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to supporting students, staff, and families in La Habra City School District.

At Ladera Palma, I am dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and academically engaging environment where every child can thrive. I am especially proud to support our Spanish Dual Immersion program, which develops bilingualism, biliteracy, and an appreciation for diverse cultures. Serving our students, working alongside our dedicated staff, and partnering with families brings me joy. I want every family to know that their child is valued, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential.

I look forward to working together to make Ladera Palma a place where every student feels connected, grows as a learner, and succeeds.
