Principal's Message
Queridos Estudiantes y padres,
¡Bienvenidos a la Academia de Inmersión Doble de Ladera Palma! Nos da mucho gusto que han decido investigar más acerca de nuestro programa fabuloso.
Nuestro programa se basa en 3 Columnas de la Educación de Lenguaje Doble. Nuestras metas para el programa también son tres. La primera meta es que los estudiantes sean Bilingües y Bi-alfabetizado. Nuestros alumnos pueden hablar, entender, leer y escribir en ambos idiomas. Nuestra segunda meta es lograr rendimiento académico alto en ambos idiomas. La ultima meta es que los alumnos puedan desarrollar destrezas de competencia y entendimiento bicultural. Por esa razón, exploramos celebraciones y educación sobre varias culturas, enfocándonos en las culturas de Latino América.
Para llegar a nuestras metas, es importante trabajar juntos, como un equipo. Su apoyo y esfuerzo le ayudara a su hijo/a tener éxito y lograr ser bilingüe; bi-alfabetizado; y bicultural. También, les agradecemos alentar a sus hijos de ser seguros, respetuosos y responsables. Comportamiento y ciudanía apropiada para éxito es la fundación de nuestro ambiente de aprendizaje escolar.

Dear Students and Parents,
Welcome to Ladera Palma Dual Immersion Academy. We are very happy that you are interested in learning more about our fabulous program.
Our program foundation is the Three Pillars of Dual Language Education. Our goals for the program are also three. The first goal is that our students are Bilingual and Biliterate. Our students are able to speak, understand, read and write in both languages. Our second goal is to reach high academic achievement levels in both languages. Our final goal is that our students are able to develop cross-cultural competence skills and understanding. This is the reason that we explore various cultural celebrations and education, focusing specifically on the culture of Latin America.
To reach these goals, it is very important to work together, as a team. Your support and hard work will help your child be successful and reach the goals of being bilingual, biliterate and bicultural. In addition, we are very grateful for your continued support in encouraging your children to be safe, respectful and responsible students. Appropriate school behavior and citizenship are a necessary foundation for a successful learning environment.
