Wild about Early Learning!

Wild about Early Learning!

La Habra City School District, with the support of our School Board, Early Learning department, and First Five Orange County, is leading the charge on a shared mission of shaping a brighter, more inclusive, and empowered future for our youngest learners. The La Habra City School District hosts classes for all children, birth to five at our School Readiness classroom located at Walnut Elementary School. This collaborative effort between parents and early learning professionals is dedicated to prepare children cognitively, socially and emotionally for school. Birth to five is a time of tremendous brain development, and every interaction has an impact.

Our School Readiness team is committed to providing all children the highest quality education available through music and movement, dramatic play, sensory activities and more! These moments are the foundation for all future learning, growth and a child’s ability to be ready for school and eager to learn.

La Habra City School District and the School Readiness team are proud to be a part of a child-centered community and to support the growth and development of children birth to age five. School Readiness is a free, drop-in program open to all children and their families living in La Habra. Families attend classes at our Walnut School location with their child.
