Booknic is Back

What do you get when you mix food, family, blankets, and books? A family fun filled Booknic event.

We did not let the rain or the pandemic stop us from bringing back the Booknic. Family and friends gathered for a picnic and book exchange with their favorite foods, blankets, and books they love.

Along with the obvious moms, dads, and little siblings, we also spotted grandparents, aunts, and uncles. Read Across America began with guest readers who read to all of our classes, from District officials and Board Members to our heroes from the sheriff’s station.

The officers brought their vehicles and allowed the kinder and first grade students to explore. What an eventful and exhilarating day! Go Lions
