Readiness on the Road

  • When: Every Wedesday at 10:00 am

  • Location: Hillcrest Health and Wellness Center; 341 Hillcrest Street, La Habra

Led by La Habra's Little Learners, Readiness Road is a collaborative event with community partners from La Habra.  The event serves children and their families through activities, movement, and presentations.

The La Habra City School District's Early Learning department hosts their music and movement class.  Children and adults sing, learn, and move with monthly themed music in a beautiful outdoor classroom setting.

Every week diffferent community partners come to share their programs and supports for children and famiies.  The resources and flyers are shared and linked and shared with to our families.

The La Habra Collaborative graciously opens Gary's Store to families that attend the event.  Families are given wristbands which allow them access to the store so that they can shop for free for supplies, diapers, and food for their families.

While families wait for admission to the store, they can explore the reading path, play with friends, or connect with other families.  Along with food and other resources, families receive a hands-on learn activitiy to take home and do as a family.
