School Readiness Program
School Readiness is a free, hands-on learning opportunity for children (ages newborn to five years) and their families that offers daily activities to support healthy growth and prepare children cognitively, socially, and emotionally for school.
In partnership with First Five Orange County, School Readiness has been serving the children and families of La Habra for over twenty years!
La Habra City School District's School Readiness Program offers free Virtual and In-Person classes that are full of engaging and enriching activities that enhance social awareness, foster language development, provide sensory stimulation, help increase independence, and build a sense of self-confidence.
Families can access these amazing resources and classes online, daily at our Walnut School classroom, and even outdoors at Hillcrest Health and Wellness Center! To access these amazing resources, simply complete the registration form. A welcome email will be sent to you with important classroom and Zoom information.
